Parking was secure and available, and the beds were queen size. The check-in was a real hassle for me as a foreigner without Pix. I had cash and an international credit card, but there was no one at the desk because check-in is virtual. Payment through Pix was required before I could check in, and tourists don’t have Pix. I ended up driving to another hotel to pay at its front desk, then coming back here to get into my room. The motion sensors in the room also bothered me. This is a “smart” hotel, and two red lights on the ceiling came on whenever anything moved, even at night while I was asleep. Just moving my arm would trigger them. I assume it’s a way to tell whether someone is in the room when there’s no front desk staff to check, but it felt intrusive and annoying.

Getting checked in was awful. We waited nearly two hours for the keys, and there was nobody at the front desk. For the first hour, none of their contact numbers answered.

The service was awful. I’d stayed at this hotel several times before, but on my last visit I ran into one problem after another because of how badly I was treated. It makes me think the management may have changed. At check-in time, I still hadn’t received confirmation of my reservation or the access codes for the room. I won’t stay here again unless I can be sure the service has returned to its previous standard. It used to be good, but I can’t recommend it now.

I booked through Booking and had to cancel two months ago. The refund confirmation email arrived, but the hotel never refunded my card, and I still paid the installment even after cancelling. I’m going to file a complaint with the responsible agency. I also tried to find a phone number to contact them but couldn’t.
