Golden Tulip Natal Ponta Negra

The rooms have a spectacular view, and the hotel is close to a nice beach, restaurants, and craft shops. I spent two nights there for an event. The accommodations were fine, new, and spacious enough, and the reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and nice. Cleaning was okay, but the food wasn’t as good as I expected. There’s room to improve.

The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was satisfactory. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is what saves this reasonable hotel for me. It’s disorganized in places, and two lifts aren’t enough for a large hotel when it’s busy. Some things I’d expect at a four-star place are missing, like extra pillows, a hairdryer, and an iron, though you can ask for them. The water sometimes stops working, too. The pool has been closed for eight months because tiles were falling from the building.

The staff are lovely and understand Spanish. Breakfast is very good, and the pool’s just right for relaxing through the afternoon after the beach. You’re right in the center of Ponta Negra, so the location is perfect if you’re staying in Natal.

The view is amazing, and the room is nice. Breakfast was great, with fresh tapioca. The hotel is expensive, though I only stayed one night, and it’s a nice place overall.
