Jurerê Beach Village

The location was good, but the rooms were small and the customer service was very bad.

It’s an older hotel, but the beach view was nice and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good too. I’d skip dinner, though. The restaurant menu wasn’t very good, there weren’t many Brazilian beers to choose from, and one night they were out of both French fries and salad. The food also took too long to arrive. I wouldn’t buy dinner as part of the hotel package again.

We live in Jurerê and used to be regular guests, often stopping by for breakfast while our children played on the playground. Today, we were rudely told to leave instead of having the rules and any charge for using the play area explained to us. Nobody explained anything or asked us to pay extra. We would have been happy to pay if someone had simply told us and warned us. We left feeling very upset and disappointed by how loyal, regular guests were treated. Update after the hotel’s response: Nobody told me the prices, and no one spoke to my husband or me beforehand to say we couldn’t use the children’s area. The only comment came rudely, after someone first went up to the children and sent them out of the room. Of course we decided to leave after being treated that way. A Brazilian woman with us said it looked like we were being treated badly because of our nationality, and she was shocked too. Even the man at reception agreed and confirmed several times that the administrator had spoken to us rudely. I’m glad to see my review has been useful and is getting likes. That’s not how customers should be treated.

We felt very valued throughout our stay. The employees spoke English, made an effort to learn our names, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The facilities, food, and cleanliness were all amazing. We also had a wonderful beach experience with spectacular views. We can’t wait to return!
