The staff were very friendly, and everything was exceptionally clean!

The rooms are huge and cozy, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Some have balconies, but not all. I really liked how welcoming the place felt, and the location is very good. One night I got back in the early hours and felt very sick after drinking a lot. In the morning, Senhor Ernesto kindly brought a cup of tea to my room to help me feel better. That thoughtful care went beyond what I expected. I travel alone and am not used to being looked after like that. Thank you, Senhor Ernesto. I’ll certainly see you again when I’m back in Natal. The location made getting around easy, with Ponta Negra beach and the restaurants only a five-minute walk away. The staff were attentive and helpful, and we spent plenty of evenings using the clean, nice pool. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The big bed was comfortable, the TV and wi-fi worked well, the air conditioning was excellent, and the furniture looked new. Cleaning was excellent too. The bathroom was a good size and very clean, with a good shower and a roomy shower screen. Towels were clean and changed every two days. Breakfast was served as a plated meal instead of a hotel-style spread where you help yourself. They let us eat in the shared space by the pool or in our room. I hadn’t had breakfast served this way before, but liked it, and it avoids food waste. A few things could be improved: another one or two power outlets in the room, a curtain over the glass section with the indoor garden because light comes through, and a rod or clothesline on the balcony for drying clothes. I’d give the place a 10. If they keep up the standard we had during our six days, I doubt anyone would regret staying here.

We’re picky about where we stay, and our two nights here turned out better than expected. Although all eight rooms were occupied, we never ran into another guest, so it stayed quiet and private. Ernesto greeted us with a smile and was a lovely host. He served breakfast and changed up the fruit and juices each day, checking what we liked. The room was very clean, with a large, excellent bed and fresh, sweet-smelling white linens. The air conditioning worked really well, and the bathroom had a practical layout and a great shower. We had a rental car and were unsure about staying somewhere without parking. There were plenty of safe places to park on the street, though. From here we could walk to the beach and some of the city’s best restaurants: Camarões for more refined dishes, and O Fuxico Bar for music and good snacks.
