Manary Praia Hotel

Beautifully decorated hotel in Natal, within walking distance of the beach. Everyone was kind and helpful, especially Fernanda, who always greeted us with a smile at breakfast. There was a wide choice of sweet and savory breakfast options. Sheila, the cat and hotel patron, adds a special touch. The restaurant has a lovely beach view and serves amazing food. I can’t recommend it enough.

Such a charming and comfortable hotel in Natal, right by the ocean with a beautiful beach for loved ones. It felt almost like living in our own Ringling-style mansion. Everyone was so hospitable and nice. As a North American, I would have paid five times as much for a hotel like this back home!

The restaurant was a real highlight, with excellent food and service, and the staff were warm and friendly. We had a mostly good stay, but a few issues got in the way. We had two apartments, and both had mosquitoes that made sleeping difficult. When we told reception, we were handed mosquito spray and told, “It is what it is.” The timber deck also looked run-down and needs maintenance. At checkout, we thought we’d lost an electronic access card and were told we’d be charged. We did find it eventually, but the response felt rigid over a small problem. I’ve never been charged for a misplaced plastic access key before. It’s a decent place with potential, though better guest service and attention to detail would improve the experience.

We had a wonderful time, and the food was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even though we don’t speak Portuguese, and we felt well looked after. We’ll be back. Greetings from Germany.
