A total ruin.

Really great.

The neighborhood was quiet and we had no security problems. Across the street, a whole block of restaurants adds to the atmosphere in the evenings, and the pool has a lovely ocean view. Breakfast is available buffet-style on the 7th floor for an extra 25 reais per person. We stayed for a few days and got the service we expected and had agreed on. The only hiccup was that the shower stopped providing hot water on day two. They repaired it the next day. Cleaning was done every other day.

The flat was tidy and cozy, and the staff were attentive. It’s in a convenient spot, and breakfast had plenty of variety.
