The room had a TV and air conditioning, which we really liked, though the shower pressure was weak. We spent one night at the hostel, and it was so empty and quiet that it hardly felt like a hostel. We barely saw any staff while we were there. There was nowhere to hang clothes or towels, and the room could use more ventilation. Its only window is a huge pane of glass that takes up almost an entire wall, so there isn’t much privacy.

I booked three nights here, and on checkout day my wife got food poisoning from smoked mortadella we’d bought at a bakery. She wasn’t well enough for us to leave at checkout time. I explained what happened to the owner, Sr.Márcio, and he was incredibly understanding, letting us stay until she felt ready to travel. That kind of kindness is worth more than money. I doubt we’d have had that flexibility at a big hotel. I absolutely recommend the place, and I’ll keep coming back!

I traveled alone and stayed in a private room, and I felt very safe there. The place is super comfortable, the service is perfect, and I had a really good time. I can only say I’ll be back again.

Márcio was very helpful, and we had a really pleasant stay. The place was clean and organized, the cable TV was nice, and the shower was wonderful.
