Santorini Praia Hotel

We’re staying at Santorini Hotel Natal Brazil, and the staff have been wonderful. Fernando and Marcelesa at the front desk are so friendly and cordial. Jose and Carla from room service are great, too. Ianca and Eliane, the sisters working in the kitchen, are lovely people, and one of them is the cook. The breakfast food is incredible, with everything you need to start the day. The room is clean and comfortable, the location is perfect, and the service is very good. The price is reasonable, and the whole group has been great. Thank you again, Santorini!!!

The staff are very nice, and there’s a good pool and breakfast. Rooms are okay. Getting around is difficult: most rooms are up narrow stairs, and there’s no elevator or other accessibility. We also came across some bugs, including roaches and flying termites.

The only real bright spot was breakfast. The hotel promotes its closeness to the beach, but be ready for a long, steep hill. I spent a week at Hotel Santorini with my family, and it turned out to be an unpleasant box of surprises. There’s no accessibility for disabled guests or older people, with stairs the only way to reach every area. The reception staff seemed unprepared for questions beyond the simplest ones. Our so-called double beds were actually two single beds pushed together. Cleanliness and safety were the worst part. We found two scorpions in the room and a lot of ants. When we raised it with a staff member, she brushed it off by saying, “there are quite a lot.” During our stay they also installed solar panels. The noise was unbearable for two whole mornings, and the hotel neither warned us nor moved us to another room. The photos I attached show debris piled up inside the hotel, which we assumed was where the bugs came from. I don’t recommend staying here.

The location is excellent, but I was a bit disappointed by the old facilities, which need maintenance. The towels and sheets were very worn and should be replaced. Breakfast was quite basic, and the dining room felt small for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. I think the place has great potential if they make a few improvements.
