The location is down a back alley behind a mall, in what I found to be a very bad neighborhood. This place should be shut down by the city council. It's more like a homeless pension than a hotel, with old mattresses full of bedbugs and outdated infrastructure. A horrible hotel.

The room was a big disappointment. It needs updating, the air conditioner and TV didn't work, and the old towels were rough. There wasn't a fitted sheet, so you wake up with your body against the mattress. Yuck! There was also mold on the hose meant for cleaning our private parts. The staff were friendly and the location is great, but the room was a letdown.

They still insist that you pay at check-in instead of checkout, like in the rest of the world. Now I wonder why. The hotel itself is dreadful, old, shabby, and nowhere near acceptable standards. Definitely not worth staying.

Being close to the beach was a real plus, and the staff were polite. The food was okay. I found the pillow too big and the mattress too soft.

The staff were very friendly, though breakfast wasn't that good. They also don't let you iron in the room, and charge you to have it done.
