Hotel Barreto

The restaurant is well set up, though the flies there were a bother. Everything else felt very positive: the hotel is perfect, new, and very clean, with new beds and a clean, comfortable bathroom. I’d recommend it, and we’ll stay here again when we return.

Comfort, cleanliness, and good service made this a very good hotel.

The hotel’s physical facilities are very good, but some of the services could use improvement. There are only a few TV channels, and the TVs should be more modern. Some bathrooms have no ventilation outlet. The restaurant kitchen staff make a lot of noise when they arrive to work in the early morning. A few things also need repairs, including doors and air-conditioning units. Apart from those issues, it’s a very good place to stay.

There’s a decent range at breakfast, but the number of flies was pretty bothersome. The room itself was very good, everything seemed new, and the air conditioner cooled properly. The shower was the one problem, it poured like a waterfall and looked like its water outlet was broken. They also wouldn’t give me an extra key card. I’d booked a room for my daughters and wanted another card, but they wouldn’t allow it. This is already my second stay, though, and I plan to come back if I’m in Glória again.
