It gets really cold at night, so bring plenty of warm clothes. We lit the barbecue and sat by a fire, looking up at the sky. The scenery is breathtaking and the whole place is incredibly peaceful. This is more than just a guesthouse, it feels like an experience. Beto, who owns the chalets, was friendly, helpful, and always available. I’ll be back soon.

The change to another chalet went smoothly, and everything there was clean, tidy, and cozy. Beto promptly offered us two options farther from the woods when caterpillars showed up all over the walls in our first chalet, which was right in the middle of the trees. I wouldn’t recommend coming during caterpillar season, but it didn’t spoil our trip. We had a wonderful time enjoying the pleasant forest weather, birds, little monkeys, and nature. It’s a charming place, and Beto’s hospitality was lovely.
