Pousada Entre Serras

Fantastic!

Great!

The photos online don’t match what’s actually there, and I found the place very disappointing. It felt far too expensive for what was offered. When I book an inn, I expect privacy and comfort. I never imagined I’d have to ask reception to fill the bathtub, or that I’d be limited to one fill per day unless I paid an extra fee. The whole property needed more cleaning. Our room was dirty, the bedding was dirty, and the curtains were filthy. There were rust marks on the bathroom bin and soap dish, which was disgusting to use. I wouldn’t call the food room service or a buffet. What they serve is less than the basics you’d get at any bar, with no variety at all, not even at breakfast. I don’t recommend it. It doesn’t deserve even half a star.

The chalet’s construction and finish were very poor for a rate of R$395,00 a night, and the furnishings were also well below what I expected at that price. The photos didn’t reflect the place, and we were disappointed with the spa chalet. The tub could only be used once a day. Any additional use cost R$50,00, and we couldn’t fill it or set the water temperature ourselves. We had to ask the owner both to use it and to adjust the temperature. Breakfast was far below what the nightly rate suggested, with no variety. Nearly all the pool umbrellas were broken.
