Pousada Macaco Prosa

Really great.

The location made it easy to explore the restaurants and enjoy the feel of Macacos, since the pousada is close to the town center. We stayed in room 1, which was comfortable, tidy, and had a lovely view. It met our expectations perfectly. Breakfast was generous, and Ângela deserves a thank you for the wonderful meals each day. We also felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Patrícia at reception was especially kind, attentive, and friendly. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The pousada is cozy and good value, and the service was excellent. We’d happily return and recommend it.

The room was comfortable, and the bed, shower, and whirlpool were all great. Everything was clean and smelled fresh, and the service was top-notch. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, and I’m sure we’ll come back.

We stayed in room 8, which has a wonderful view. The place is very pleasant and completely peaceful, and I loved the pizza in the evening and the breakfast, with its many choices. The owner and Patrícia gave us wonderful service. A couple of things could be improved. A curtain on the window to the right when facing the whirlpool would help guests feel more private, even though nobody outside can see in. Also, the main parking area is difficult to access with a low or lowered car like mine without scraping the front or back. The secondary lot has a steep ramp too, and the car may slip on it when the ground is wet. Aside from that, I hope to visit again as soon as I can.
