Viva Benx Pinheiros

I had a great stay at the Pinheiros unit. The room was cozy and excellent, and the location is hard to beat, right across from shopping Eldorado with a walkway straight to the mall. My only small issue was that the front desk didn’t have my details when I arrived to check in, even though I’d booked through booking. The doorman let me into the building, and I contacted booking; it was sorted out quickly, so it didn’t become a big problem. I’d definitely come back.

Our Booking reservation had been paid for and confirmed, but when we got there, there was no accommodation available for us. We were left standing outside the building where we were supposed to stay. It was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely disrespectful. We tried to sort it out with Alexandre from the agency responsible for the booking, but his service was awful, he seemed unprepared, and he offered no solution. At the hotel entrance, we had to ring the intercom several times before anyone answered, and the response was rude. The staff member who came to the door said she was new and couldn’t do anything, despite our paid reservation. The whole thing showed a serious lack of organization and responsibility from both the hotel and the agency. I don’t recommend either one. I hope they take steps so nobody else has to go through this.

We booked for four people well in advance, but when we arrived, nobody could find the reservation. It felt as if I were begging for a last-minute room, even though the booking should have been in the system. The administrator, Alexandre, apparently never entered it. The service was terrible. The woman at the entrance seemed completely lost and couldn’t solve anything. She told me to contact Booking because my name and reservation weren’t in their system, then shut the door in my face, leaving me trapped inside the entrance area, which has two barriers. She was the only attendant there, and she was dismissive from the moment we arrived. There was nowhere suitable to stop and unload, so our car, worth more than 100 thousand reais, was left almost on the sidewalk. Alexandre was no help either. I feel sorry for the owners who handed their properties over to this agency to manage; they’ll end up without guests. We asked Alexandre to cancel the reservation immediately. I want my money back.

The place is clean and well organized, and the condominium has a lot going for it, including a pool, party room, gourmet space, pet area, and other facilities. It seems like a great place to live. The location is excellent too, right across from shopping eldorado, with easy access to buses and the metro.
