Kaleidoscópio Hostel

I pay attention to cleanliness and organization as well as the relaxed atmosphere, and unfortunately those fell short here. The way the manager treated me was also awful. I arrived as a guest and had the possibility of volunteering, but he mixed up the information and started confusing things. I didn’t want to volunteer or take training from someone who had treated me that way. He was disrespectful and completely out of line in every respect. Maybe he’s useful to guests he doesn’t see as a threat, but his presence and the way he received me made the experience extremely unpleasant. They still charged me the full amount. Really disappointing.

The hosts are incredibly attentive and welcoming. I’m usually pretty quiet, so I wasn’t sure this experience would suit me, but I ended up making friends and was very well looked after. The place has such a pleasant energy. Highly recommend!!!!

The people were welcoming, the location is handy for snack places, and it was easy to get an Uber or taxi. The room price felt fair. The room itself was a little small, but it’s a hostel, so that was okay. Some bedding had stains and didn’t seem very new, the fan had no speed control, and there was still no TV. A few parts of the building need repairs. They explained that the hostel had moved to its current site fairly recently and was still adjusting.

The team has great energy and everyone was friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back soon. There’s a pool, a spacious kitchen, and a living room, plus a great host and staff. The location is excellent.
