On arrival, we found serious problems with the room: a strong mold smell, insects in the bathroom, dirty towels, and hygiene that fell below a basic standard. We asked to cancel immediately and refund the amount paid, since the service hadn’t been provided in suitable conditions and, in our view, this was a failure under the Consumer Defense Code. So far, the money has not been returned. This is a formal request for a full refund of the amount paid by PIX for the reservation made yesterday at Pousada Villa Dorinha – Macacos. Please return it within 48 business hours of receiving this message. If it isn’t resolved by then, we will take the appropriate steps with Procon and the Special Civil Court, including seeking repayment and possible compensation for moral damages. The view was wonderful and the breakfast was tasty. We had a room with a hydro tub, and the room itself could use more ventilation, but when we asked for a fan, they brought one right away. I also think the room could use a place for clothes and suitcases, and the bathroom could use a shelf. The service from Silvana and Guilherme was the highlight, they had us laughing. I booked at the very last minute and was treated really well even before arriving. I loved it and hope to come back soon! ❤️

The staff were cheerful, friendly, and quick to help with everything we asked for. The whole inn is lovely and well cared for, and our room was spacious, beautiful, and cozy. Breakfast was fresh, with a lovely view. We only missed having a luggage stand in the room and a shelf for toiletries inside the shower. It was a very happy, positive stay, and it definitely made us want to return.

The mountain view was beautiful, and the pool was lovely in the great atmosphere. The bed was wonderful, the blankets soft, and the bathroom huge, with a great hydro tub. Breakfast was excellent too. It’s a cozy place with especially good service, and seems more suited to couples. My only concern is that paying for the stay in installments by card came with 5% interest, which hadn’t been mentioned when I booked. Still, it’s a delightful inn. I recommend it.
