Hotel Alles Berg

A great hotel, with breakfast available until 11am and a nice pool. The beds were perfect, the rooms clean, and the staff friendly. 10/10 ✅

The hotel is a gem, and I’d recommend Nova Petrópolis too. Even if you’re heading to Gramado or Canela, consider staying at Alles Berg. It isn’t far from those cities, the value for money is ENORMOUS, and Nova Petrópolis is charming. The restaurant is attached to the hotel and open to the public. It has a good variety of dishes, some created by a chef, as well as a TV and bar with lots of drinks. There are tables for two, four, or more, larger armchairs for families, and a separate area enclosed with glass windows and a door, looking outside. For a couple, an appetizer, main course, dessert, and two very generous glasses of house wine came to around the lower end of Serra Gaúcha prices, so dinner here feels refined without being too costly. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, with a generous selection of delicious food, all prepared with care. The double room has more than enough space for a couple, with several lighting options and a large window. The shower and taps have hot and cold settings. Staff are courteous, polite, and helpful, and everyone wears a uniform in good condition. The hotel is well located, with parking at the back and lots of spaces. There are pedestrian access routes, two elevators, and a main staircase. Just be careful with the parking spaces, since maneuvering could get tight when it’s busier.

The hotel surprised us during our stay this weekend. The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the facilities were really good. Breakfast had a huge selection and was delicious, and the bar offered good value. The team gave us a warm welcome and we had a great stay. The one thing I’d improve is having robes in the rooms for pool use, since access to the pool is through reception. We’ll be back!
