Pousada Ilson

It's a really nice, peaceful place, and the room service was great. The air conditioning was good too. We weren't happy that water wasn't available unless you bought a 500 ml bottle there. You could get water at a market instead, but there was no minibar to keep it cold. The TV was very small. Those were the only downsides we noticed, though. The place is very good.

The chalet is small, so it works well for a couple with one child at most. More people would feel cramped. I also missed having a minibar and more outlets, and the bathroom in my chalet had a horrible smell coming back up. Still, it's a pleasant, quiet place with good service and a great breakfast, close to the parks, supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, and more. Good value, and worth a visit.

The owner was warm and friendly, and the location is excellent, about a 15-minute walk from Thermas dos Laranjais. There isn't a minibar in the rooms, but there's a shared fridge in the kitchen, which was enough for our trip.

This has become my favorite inn, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I brought my pet, and he had fun with the family too. The staff were helpful and very polite, breakfast was first-rate, and the WiFi was wonderful. The location is great, and I was well looked after throughout my stay. Loved the place!
