I liked the garden and pool, and the hotel sits in a great spot in old Olinda. The rooms are spacious and simply comfortable. Service is a big part of what makes the place good. Breakfast is excellent for what it costs, while the restaurant is decent for the price and has enough options, though nothing stands out. The price for the quality is excellent.

I stayed five nights on my own and found it good value. The gardens, with all their plants and wildlife, were a highlight, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities feel a bit dated, but everything worked flawlessly except perhaps TV streaming, which may have been a wifi issue. Breakfast was nice.

The garden and pool are lovely, and it was very peaceful when I visited because the hotel was nearly empty. My room was fine, nothing special, and the staff were friendly. But getting the invoice took two emails and three phone calls. That should happen automatically without all the extra effort.

The location is outstanding, and the atmosphere is comfortable, with a lovely pool. Staff were warm and helpful, and the service was great. Breakfast was included and delicious, with a range of traditional Nordestino options. Lunch and dinner also had plenty of fresh, carefully selected juices. The only drawback was the price, especially laundry, which is quite expensive if you're paying in Brazilian Real, though fairly reasonable in dollars.

10/10
The rooms are plain, but comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the staff are great. The grounds are beautiful, with a fabulous pool. Food was outstanding, from the breakfast buffet to the a la carte lunch and dinner. One of my favorite hotels in Brazil. Highly recommended.
