Breakfast was excellent, and most places in Olinda are within walking distance of the Pousada. The staff were really friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was good value, though the pillows were sponge.

The staff were very nice, and breakfast was simple but tasty. The rooms weren't perfect when we visited years back, but at this price you can't expect perfection. It was clean and tidy, and the aircon worked, though it made a lot of noise, so we kept switching it on and off. No regrets.

I spent 11 days here, which probably says enough. It's welcoming, clean, and in a beautiful spot near Praca Carmo and the historic centre. Nothing fancy, but pleasant, with a nice breakfast and a good bed. I may never return to Olinda, but if I do, I'd stay here again.
