There was a lot of noise late at night, and the place had signs of mold. I also got a message from the host threatening legal action after I left my review. I paid upfront through the site for my own security, but they wouldn't let me check in unless I sent copies of my ID and proof of address beforehand. That demand was outside the Booking terms, which said not to provide documents beyond what was already on the site. Sending those copies felt very risky because they could get lost.

The room was spacious, clean, and in a good location, but the bathroom had ants and little flies and smelled bad despite being clean. There's only a ceiling fan, and I missed having air conditioning. The bathtub is slippery, with no grab bar to help you get in or out, so it feels like a fall risk. There's even a notice saying not to fill it, so maybe a shower would make more sense. Parking made check-in awkward. We had to go inside first to collect the keys and garage remote, then leave and come back in by car. The previous guest hadn't returned the remote. I was exhausted and had to leave early the next morning, so I didn't wait for them to sort it out and parked on the street.

The rooms and outdoor area were really clean and airy, and the decor was lovely. The staff and host deserve a lot of credit for the welcome and care they gave guests. I was very happy with my stay and would come back whenever I can.
