Aconchego de Itaúna

We loved the house, which is practically right on the sand. It was spotless and well organized, and the garden is beautiful. The bedrooms stay cool and have mosquito screens on the windows, and the kitchen is great. You can see the care in all the little details. Roberta was wonderful from the start, always polite and happy to answer our questions. Such a lovely experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Roberta!

Roberta was helpful every step of the way, and the house was beautifully organized, with care put into every detail. It’s spacious, very peaceful, and right across from the beach, almost on the sand. The outdoor showers were great for cooling off during a barbecue and after the beach. I recommend the house to everyone!

The waves and fresh sea air are right there at the house, with shops and services nearby, including delivery. Across my two stays at Aconchego, I’ve found it works well for both a quiet break in Saquarema / Itaúna and easy access to local events, restaurants, shops, and services. On my first visit several years ago, we spent our time enjoying the beaches, outings, restaurants, little fairs in the Center, and other social activities. This time the Coronavirus pandemic meant we only went out to the beach across the road, which let us keep a comfortable and safe distance while spending time with family. Staying in gave us a real sense of the word “Aconchego,” as expressed in a sweet picture on the veranda. The house has large, airy rooms, a spacious yard with trees, gardens, and lawns, and everything is well cared for. Roberta, the owner, puts a lot of responsibility and care into the place, beyond what I’ve seen in other vacation rentals. There’s fast, reliable internet with indoor repeaters, labeled light switches and key rings, first-aid and sewing kits, and a simple house guide with useful tips and routines. Hygiene standards are high, including in the yard, and Roberta has left thoughtful little touches throughout. I recommend it in Itaúna, Saquarema.

The house is lovely and cozy, with plenty of space for kids and pets. We had a wonderful stay, better than we expected, and the service was great. We recommend it for any occasion.
