The two employees were really nice, but that was the only good part of our stay. We came with three small children and six elderly people, and the situation was very embarrassing. The building is in terrible shape, with damp throughout, mold on the bedroom ceilings, a dreadful bathroom, and sewage running in the open. There was also a lot of noise at night. The photos are from a long time ago and don’t reflect what it’s like now. They ask guests to arrive at 6 p.m., when people who have traveled from far away can’t easily cancel or find somewhere else at the last minute. This inn had potential, and they could renovate and bring guests back. Many people come because they’re members of CMMC, the management company. I don’t know how Booking accepts this kind of inn without an inspection. Rating: 1.

The service was good, and the location was too. The building is older and poorly maintained, with a lot of makeshift fixes. Parking was confusing and a bit of a mess.

My 2022 New Year's stay here was as bad as it gets. The place was dirty, with cobwebs all over, an open septic tank, rusty old stove, dirty utensils, and a moldy pillow. There was so much algae around the pool that my nephew slipped and hit his head. I have videos and photos of all this. We couldn't tell who was a guest and who worked there because nobody had identification. The photos in the listing are very old. After I contacted management, they just blamed Covid. Maybe it's a place for Halloween, but be careful if you want to avoid a stressful stay.

I love the location, with the Lagoa right behind the hotel. If you like catching crabs or fishing, you can do it without going anywhere, and it's also a handy spot to launch a kayak. Having everything in one apartment is practical. It's near Morro da Cruz and about 2 km from the Center of Saquarema. Perfectly located.
