We found the bathroom situation awkward, and no one mentioned it when I booked. It wasn't attached to the room, so getting there meant walking through the breakfast area beside the kitchen with our clothes, towels, shoes, and shampoo while people were eating. 🤭 The breakfast also didn't match the picture. We left without eating, and another family got only coffee and toast. For the service we received, I thought it was expensive.
We were disappointed, and the photos gave a misleading impression. The place wasn't fully clean, especially the bathroom. In our room there was a spiderweb on the light fixture, broken windows, and dirty dishes in the sink. The owner says she's a warrior because she handles everything alone, but when my wife pointed out the dirty bathroom, the owner's son simply handed her a broom and dustpan to clean it herself. I wouldn't recommend this place.
After more than 12 hours on the road, we were worn out. It was 4 a.m. when we searched Maps for somewhere to sleep for a few hours, and finding the pousada was a wonderful surprise. They replied quickly, prepared a very clean, fresh-smelling room, and made us feel looked after and safe even at that hour. It made a real difference to our day.
Milena, thank you so much 💐. This lovely family-run place is very clean, and the air conditioning made it easy to relax. The shower was fantastic, and breakfast was good too.
Igor was so welcoming and even helped us find something to eat at 11 p.m. on a Sunday, without us needing to leave the pousada. Our room had its own bathroom, and breakfast was homemade with lots of variety. It was a successful stay, and I highly recommend the place.
