Patrícia is one of those people who changes how you see life. I chose this place for the first stay organized by my travel agency for women, Tamarina Travel, and couldn't have picked a better spot. There were 13 of us, and we felt at home. The setup encourages you, in a good way, to really share the experience with everyone there. I'm in love with the place and its owner, and with everything about it. I hope to return to Ouro Preto again and again and stay at Casa Dlourdes.

The hardest part is leaving, because the place is so comfortable it makes you want to live there, haha. It's very well located, and the main double bedroom has a wonderful view of the city. The house is modest but extremely comfortable and well equipped, with household items and plenty of rooms. The decor is beautiful and inviting. Anyone who has trouble sleeping should try a night here. Everyone I've brought along wants to come back, and I recommend it without hesitation. The bathroom showers get nice and hot, and there are towels, toilet paper, and liquid soap. The fireplace is a lovely touch.
