The little bar downstairs was cozy and handy, especially with all the hills around here. The location right on the main square is great, though it can get a bit noisy at night. Breakfast had eggs, meia cura cheese, and three or four kinds of fruit; I missed having ham, but you can cook it yourself. The kitchen was always available and everything was very clean, especially the bedrooms. The toilets don't have forced ventilation, though they were about to move to another building, so that might no longer be an issue.

I could see all of praça da inconfidência from the window of my shared room. The place is right in the heart of Ouro Preto, close to nearly all the sights, and it's a nice spot to stay :)

The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, and there was hot water. Breakfast was included, and the staff were friendly.
