Lovely.

The food and warm hospitality made our honeymoon week feel special. We loved it. We managed to get massages almost every day, though one day there was no availability. Seu Dico was such a sweetheart, and so were Ághata and Bárbara from the massage team. Everything felt beautiful, peaceful, and very good.

The menu is great, and there's a wine list with a corkage option. We also enjoyed the heated pool, both the steam and dry saunas, and the waterfall with its swimming hole. The place itself is beautiful and well equipped, with top service, especially from Green, who was always ready to help and in a great mood. Well worth a visit!

The landscaping is beautiful, with lots of carefully tended plants, and the room was spotless. The mattress, pillows, and towels were all excellent quality, so the comfort was there. Getting there was rough, though. The dirt road has so many potholes that it’s very difficult in a low car. At night, you can barely see the ground without using your phone flashlight. The food was fairly priced, but bland, and didn’t feel up to the standard of a five-star hotel, so I wasn’t keen to eat there. The pool was the biggest concern. There were exposed suction points that could catch long hair, the drain wasn’t secured, and the bottom was dirty on both days I used it. Checkout was chaotic too. Everyone had the same departure time, and I waited nearly 30 minutes in a huge line. There weren’t enough staff to handle bills and room cleaning at the same time, and the hotel seemed short on planning and flexibility.
