The waterfall is amazing, and the pool was a lovely spot to relax with a book. Everything was provided, and the place was exceptionally clean. The food and service were both great, and it was well priced. I had a really restful stay and felt recharged enough to get back to work. I’ll definitely return, 10/10.

At breakfast, you can enjoy breads, cakes, sweets, juice, coffee, and fruit beside the stream and close to the waterfall. The food is incredibly tasty, and the staff are polite, kind, and attentive. If you want to relax in nature, listening to the water and feeling that lovely mountain chill, Caminho das Candeias is just the place. It’s wonderful. You’ll have to go and see for yourself!

Dona Cristiane gave us an exemplary welcome, with real warmth and friendliness. The place is beautiful and captivating, surrounded by nature, with a stream on the property, and it’s close to the center. It was a worthwhile experience. The stay had some frustrating drawbacks. Our internet was out for the entire visit, which got in the way. The rooms and chalets are plain, old, and basic, with no special details. There’s no wastebasket in the room either. Breakfast was average, with lots of sweet items, and the bread wasn’t fresh. Some key items, like scrambled eggs, cassava, cheese bread, and yogurt, are kept in the kitchen and you have to ask for them. That was disappointing for the nightly price. I was also uneasy about the route in, since you have to drive over a wooden bridge. It didn’t feel very safe, though that’s the access route they have.
