Chalés Simplissin

I’ve stayed here four times now, most recently for one night while I was in town for work rather than a holiday. The chalets have their own covered outdoor kitchens beside them, with the utensils you need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The chalet was spotless and smelled wonderful, and there’s parking. For the price, it’s good value. Falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall is priceless. I felt at home there with my son and daughter-in-law. Vanuza and her son Matheus are wonderful, caring hosts who are ready to help with whatever you need. Each chalet has its own cheerful, lovingly cared-for charm. The chalet was just what my boyfriend and I wanted for a simple weekend away: clean, cute, and welcoming, with everything we needed. The hot shower was great, and the TV had streaming channels. We loved the little balcony with its table, chairs, and hammock, where we could lie back and listen to the birds. There’s a splendid forest view outside, and our host Matheus made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We didn’t get to meet his mother, but she was also very receptive when we first contacted her by phone. The kitchenette was lovely and had everything needed for meals, though we were in a rush and chose to eat out instead. I can’t think of anything to complain about. The price is fair, and they even left us a complimentary bottle of water. We also got a very warm welcome from the little four-legged one, such a cutie. We hope to stay here whenever we come to Lumiar. We chose Simplisim on the recommendation of Sr. Arthur from the campground next door, and it was the right call.

I absolutely loved the place, especially the host. We’ll definitely be back.

The owners treated us exceptionally well, always replying and being so kind. I felt right at home and we’ll be back soon. The chalet was spotless, the bedroom smelled lovely, and the bed was neatly made. The TV had all the apps for watching series and movies whenever we wanted.
