Solar Dona Maria

We’ve been coming here for about 20 years, and the owners, our friends Jacaré and Angélica, have always treated us so well. Everything is kept clean and organized, it feels very safe, and getting to the beach is easy. They’re warm, friendly, and truly care about their guests. We recommend the place wholeheartedly. There’s something magical about this little spot in our Bela e Doce Pinheira. We’re grateful you’re here, and we love you. We’ll keep choosing you for as long as we can. A great, peaceful place!

The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the house is simple but has everything you need. Solar Dona Maria is so well located that it’s almost right on the sand. It’s at the end of a dead-end street, with access through another property belonging to the same owners that leads straight to the beach. The square and the area’s largest market are nearby, along with bakeries, bars, kiosks, restaurants, clothing and other shops, and a pharmacy. It’s easy to walk to them, about 300 m along the beach or 800 m by road. The sea is cold, but calm and pleasant. It’s a quiet beach with few street vendors, and they’re polite. I highly recommend staying here.

The owner, Seu Álvaro, was so attentive and lovely. The inn faces the sea, with direct access, and there’s parking. It’s good for kids and close to several beautiful beaches. The only downside is that fishermen clean their catch right across from the inn, so the smell isn’t great. Walk a little and you’ll find another spot. We’d definitely come back if we get the chance.
