Great!

The setting is beautiful and right on the sand, in a privileged spot, but the owners need to give it better attention. It feels poorly managed. The apartments are full of makeshift fixes and seem like larger units split up to fit more guests. Our TVs didn’t work because a cable wasn’t plugged in, and the jacuzzi didn’t work either. Later it was set to turn on at certain times, but it still didn’t heat because the heating is solar. Air conditioner drains dripped into the hallway, leaving the floor wet, and our apartment was dirty. During our stay, a couple arrived, saw that their apartment was dirty, and left. The beach had water and electricity supply problems that week, which weren’t the pousada’s fault. Still, we couldn’t shower because the water tank couldn’t meet the demand from the 11 apartments. The owner said we should expect this because it’s a fishing village, but that doesn’t seem fair. We’ve stayed elsewhere on the same beach without these problems. The owners have something precious here, so I hope they review the installations and hire a good cleaner to take better care of the place.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was well organized, and the accommodations were spotless. The hosts were extremely kind, and Kito was a real gentleman. We’ll definitely be back.

One of the best things about the pousada is its location right by the sea, just a few steps from the sand. The fishing boats sit on the beach off to the right, so they don’t block the tourists’ view.
