Pousada Casa de Naná

We were looked after really well by Daniel and the rest of the team, and the food was delicious. The shimeji risotto and tilapia with mashed banana da terra were both wonderful. It's a great place to rest. We'll be back and will recommend the inn. See you soon, Raquel, Francisco, Helena, and Olívia.

The windows had no glass, so in this place surrounded by bush there were mosquitoes everywhere. It was impossible to relax, especially at night. When we told reception about the problems, they said it “wasn't their responsibility.” We were paying to stay somewhere without proper cleaning, maintenance, or support. The bathroom was filthy when we arrived, with hair in the drain and a very strong bleach smell, and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The faucet pipe was leaking too, leaving everything wet. This was an awful, unacceptable experience, with no care, hygiene, or respect for guests. I can't recommend it at all. The place is completely unprepared to host people.

The setting in Taquaruçu, surrounded by nature, made a lovely first impression. The landscaping is beautiful, with photo-worthy corners everywhere, and the heated pool was especially welcome in the cool mountain weather. We also spent time in one of the comfortable lounge areas with hot tubs, which was a 10/10 for us. Stephany welcomed us warmly and stayed attentive throughout, and the whole team was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the bar staff made wonderful drinks, and the tapioca cake at breakfast deserves a special mention. The inn has only just opened, so some adjustments are understandable, but it already shows a lot of promise. We left very happy with our stay and our choice.

We spent my birthday there on a Monday, and although we were the only guests, the staff treated us as if the place were full. Everyone was courteous and welcoming. We had a delicious filet à piemontese for lunch, then enjoyed the pool. Later, a fire was lit in the designated area, which warmed us on the chilly evening. Our room was comfortable and well cleaned. We did miss having a minibar in it, though we knew the inn had been open for only a little over 60 days. We felt like VIPs and plan to come back.
