The setting is pleasant and surrounded by greenery, but it didn’t work for remote work. The power kept cutting out and the Wi-Fi was unstable. I understand these outages are apparently common in Capão Valley, but I asked the owner of Recanto dos pássaros if it was suitable for working and he said yes. I paid for two weeks, then had to leave after five days because of the blackouts. He wouldn’t refund any of the money. I feel he should have been upfront with me.

The owners were very friendly, and the garden view comes with birdsong among all the flowers. It’s peaceful getting to the village, though the place isn’t especially close to it. The room is simple, as is typical for places to stay in the valley, but the bed was comfortable and the linens clean. Breakfast was fresh each day, with good quality fruit and food.

A lovely, spacious place with a cozy feel and nature all around. The owner is a really nice guy, and the positive energy of capão is everywhere. I recommend it!

Such a calm, pleasant place to stay. We got a warm welcome, and the accommodation felt really cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and Maria is a sweetheart.

Breno and Lorena were great hosts, and the pousada itself was lovely. Vale do Capão, surrounded by nature, is unforgettable. I’m already thinking about going back.
