Casa Anis Hostel

The hosts are such lovely people, and the house itself is wonderful. Praia do Jabaquara is a three-minute walk away and really delightful. We stayed last week and had a great time. I want to come back soon! A kiss to you, dear ones.

The owner is so nice and really tries to make you happy. The place is close to the best spots, including the beach and Centro, and breakfast was wonderful. A perfect, cozy place. Highly recommend!

The accommodations were nice, but the owner’s hospitality was zero. Our Booking reservation hadn’t gone through, and the Hostel owner was very rude, as if blaming us. They had availability, so we worked it out and stayed, but then there were more mix-ups. A friend had emailed ahead to ask whether vegan breakfast was available. They confirmed it, but there was nothing vegan when we arrived. Instead of trying to sort it out, the owner again just disclaimed responsibility. His wife treated us much better and kept trying to resolve things instead of brushing them off.

The hostel has a really good, family-like atmosphere, and it’s close to the beach with a generally peaceful feel. Sr. Everaldo and Dona Josi helped us a lot. I enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back, actually, we’ll be back. Congratulations to the owners.
