Casa Turquesa Maison D´Hotes

The front desk suggested some fantastic restaurants and a boat trip. The staff were incredibly helpful, and breakfast was a masterpiece. Casa Turquesa is gorgeous, welcoming, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. It’s the absolute best. I can’t wait to return!

Casa Turquesa felt like a dream, and I haven’t come back from a hotel stay this happy in ages. They take caring for guests seriously, with lots of little things done to make sure you’re looked after. When I had to shift my dates and arrive a day later, I messaged on WhatsApp and they changed them without a fuss. Most hotels or Airbnb places would use that as a chance to charge for the change. They also provide sandals to wear indoors so you don’t track the city inside. When my girlfriend got sick, they did everything they could to help, even waiting until 10:30 at night to clean our room once we could finally go out for dinner. The service was incredible. Fransisco was so charming, funny, and sweet, almost like a character from White Lotus. We couldn’t get enough of him. I highly recommend the place. They understand that when people are on vacation, they want to relax and focus on having fun, and Casa Turquesa made that possible better than anywhere else.

One thing to plan around is the flooding at new and full moons. At certain times, cars can’t pass along the street, and reaching Casa Turquesa means walking over uneven cobblestones and little wooden planks, which is awkward with a suitcase. Aside from that, we loved our stay. The Marron room was cozy and comfortable, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, the service went above and beyond, and the heated pool was just right.

They really got the charming details right, and the location is great. One of the coolest hotels around, with amazing staff who went out of their way to help. Highly recommend.
