Minha Casa, Seu Hostel

Sara was so welcoming, kind, and easy to be around. My friend and I stayed at her hostel a few days ago and felt completely at ease. It’s in a really convenient spot with absolutely everything nearby. I hope to stay there again when I return to Recife. Thanks, Sara!

Booking and nightly rate were both fine, and the owner made us feel at home. The place was quiet, the room clean, and the beds and sheets were clean and comfortable. There’s a kitchen guests can use to cook, which helped us save by eating out less. Three large supermarkets are only 3 to 5 minutes away and open every day. Bars, restaurants, and pharmacies are right nearby too. Thanks for everything, Sara.

My daughter booked her stay several days ahead, but the owner messaged her just half an hour before the agreed arrival time to say she wouldn’t receive her because the mattress was completely moldy. That showed no consideration for guests and made me feel she couldn’t be trusted to honor what had been agreed at booking. The situation happened to MY DAUGHTER, so I’m entitled to MY OPINION about you. As her MOTHER, I don’t want other people to go through what we did. She was alone at night, didn’t know anyone, and you weren’t even there to receive her.

Terrible. The photos don’t match the stay, and there are so many stairs. The shower drips, the bathroom sink is broken, and there’s a set schedule for using the air conditioning. There’s damp coming through, and the bathroom has no window. When it rains, the stairs get wet and I nearly fell. I wouldn’t recommend it.
