The room setup was another letdown. The place is charming, but seeing mosquito spray, bug repellent, and a bug zapper grouped together when I walked into the room didn’t make for a relaxing first impression. It’s also a quiet, peaceful spot in the historic center. At breakfast, the menu listed gluten-free choices, but the staff didn’t seem to understand what that involved. They served gluten-free butter with regular bread and cakes, which isn’t safe for someone with coeliac disease. If a property says it can handle gluten-free diets, those details matter, so I was disappointed by the lack of understanding. If you can overlook these issues, it’s still a lovely place.

It’s right in the center but remains very quiet. Getting there is on foot only, which is difficult with luggage, and check-in through a safe was tricky because no staff member was there in person. Breakfast wasn’t available until 8:00 a.m. on our departure day, so getting to the bus in the morning takes extra time, or requires walking. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room felt cramped with our large luggage, so I wouldn’t suggest it for travelers bringing big bags. The location was great, and breakfast was wonderful.

We booked on the hotel’s own website because the price was lower than on Booking. The staff were incredibly kind, and they let us keep using the room on departure day since it was available. They also lent us beach towels at no extra charge. The rooms were nice, breakfast was great, and the location was amazing.

The street was surprisingly quiet even though everything was right nearby. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were so helpful. I’d gladly stay here again. Thank you!
