The place is simple, but it has a soul that matters more to me than luxury. I felt safe and supported while still having plenty of room for quiet time. What stayed with me most was the sense of community: open, respectful, kind people from all over the world, each on their own journey and sharing time together naturally. From the moment I arrived, the calm atmosphere, closeness to nature, and genuinely human feel helped me relax. The views, forest, sounds, animals, and homemade food all felt authentic. If you're hoping to get away from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and spend a few days in nature with great people, this is the place. Five stars, no doubt.

We did some cooking ourselves in the well-equipped shared kitchen, which connects to a big balcony. The place is tucked away in the jungle, but Paraty, a bigger city, and beautiful beaches are still within an hour's distance. It is remote, so there are trade-offs, but we were impressed by how good and clean everything was. After 13 months of travel in Latin America, I'd say this was the BEST breakfast we had, and it was included. Every morning brought a big variety of fresh-baked cakes, fruit, fresh juices, coffee, and fresh bread, all from the garden. I wish I had taken a photo, but you won't be disappointed. The place has an alternative, free-spirited outlook, yet we didn't feel out of place as more direct and conventional thinkers. Sebastian, the owner, has loads of energy. He built the place by himself over the last 10-15 years, including the road to get there, and you can see how much energy he's put in. We were very happy, felt welcome, and would definitely recommend getting a taste of this jungle paradise!

The views are spectacular, nature surrounds the place, and the food is amazing. It could have been such a great stay. But in the end, I'd advise people to stay away, especially women traveling alone or with other women. The owner, Sebastian, openly said he'd like to spend the night with one of us. It made us uncomfortable, especially since our room didn't lock. The remote location, which might otherwise be an advantage, became a downside.

I had a really nice stay with my partner. The staff were helpful and made great food. My personal highlights were the caipirinhas and burgers 🍔🍹. The setting is beautifully remote, right in nature, but luckily there's a free shuttle to and from town. There are two waterfalls nearby and some nice hikes.

It's a really nice hostel in the rainforest, with no buildings or cars around, just nature and the sounds of a nearby waterfall. Meeting the owner, Sebastian, kicks off a real adventure, and the 4x4 ride up to the hostel is an adventure in itself. He'll cook what you like using organic ingredients he grows himself. You can also have his home-brewed beer and incredible caipirinhas made with fruit from the garden.
