Jabaquara Beach Resort

A pleasant place with a welcoming reception and a nice setup. There’s a heated pool, a separate kids’ pool, and a heated whirlpool. The outdoor gym is rustic, and the pets are very well cared for, including rabbits, fish, ducks, and chickens. I recommend it for families.

The natural surroundings are a real highlight, and the place is beautiful. The air conditioner was quiet, and there was warm cake at breakfast every day. I also appreciated how many towels they provided and having a drying rack for beach clothes, which is ideal at a beach hotel.

Jabaquara Beach Resort is a peaceful place to unwind, with parking and all the accommodations you might need. The beach right in front, Praia do Jabaquara, isn’t suitable for swimming, and you really need a vehicle to get to the city's attractions. For a rest when you’re not going into town or out to nature spots, though, it works very well. Breakfast was great and ran from 8 to 10, which is nice if you want to sleep in a bit. It isn’t really a resort, but what they offer is very satisfying, and the price isn’t above the local pousada average despite the different name. Some reviews mention the dirt road to the pousada, but there’s another paved route that goes into town. The team was very helpful and would bring out literal lists of suggestions whenever we had a question. There are rabbits too.
