The garden and pool area are beautiful, and it was nice to have an indoor pool and games area as well. We also enjoyed breakfast and a meal at the restaurant attached to the property. The villas have character, though the rooms aren't luxurious, and we found them perfectly comfortable. The courtyard and hammocks were a lovely extra. It's about a ten minute walk along the canal to the old town, with nature around the pousada and just enough distance from town. There are lots of good places to stay in Paraty, so I took time choosing. I'm glad I picked this one. It felt just right for us.

We liked having breakfast outside, and there was lots to choose from. The pool was refreshingly cool, and the brewery restaurant next door was a pleasant place to eat. The rooms are a good size and open onto little courtyards with hammocks. The hotel is laid out nicely, close to the old town but far enough away to stay very quiet.

The mattress felt softer than I like, though I didn't ask to change rooms, so I can't really comment on that. The gym was pretty minimal, but still a nice thing to have. The villas are lovely, set among nature, and it's only about a ten minute walk into the city center. Staff were very nice and the service was good. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of outdoor seating.

The villas and garden are lovely, and it's clear a lot of work goes into keeping the grounds looking good. Breakfast was homemade and really tasty, and the service was responsive. The room furniture was a bit dated, but clean. There are plenty of facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, bar, and gym. The price was very competitive too.
