Beth and Jamila made our stay special with all their care and attention. They lovingly prepared and served a wonderful breakfast, with all kinds of Brazilian treats and poached eggs if you ask. The three guest rooms are on the first floor, along a balustrade, and each has a table with two chairs. We were two couples in the first two rooms. The rooms aren’t very big, but had enough space for two, with a TV, air conditioning, a fridge with freezer compartment, a wardrobe, and a ceiling fan. There was an extra bed, which we used for luggage. The bed isn’t very wide, but we slept well. The bathroom is small, with a sink, toilet, and shower. Everything was very clean, and there were nice bath towels, a sheet, and a light bedspread. The pousada is only a 7-8 minute walk from the old center, and we had a wonderful time thanks to Beth and Jamila.

Our host was incredibly generous, making us coffee when we arrived and adding eggs and special treats to an already impressive breakfast spread. The location was great, on a downtown corner, with an easy, safe walk to the colonial area. Parking was easy, and the canal walkway nearby is nice for a run, walk, or bike ride.

A really nice place with a super kind host. It wasn’t the cheapest, but it was an end-of-year weekend.

The street was quiet and felt safe, and the historic center was about an eight-minute walk away. The location suited us, the facilities were very good, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Dona Beth and Jamille were so thoughtful and attentive, and breakfast was excellent. It was a great choice!
