We were there for one night in February 2026 as a couple. The inn was peaceful despite being so close to both Paraty's center and the bus station. The staff were lovely and helpful, and spoke good English. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with ceiling and electric fans. We liked the pool area, the breakfast had lots of options, and we enjoyed the restaurant's quirky menu. The only surprise was a 10% service charge on the bill. Still, we had a very comfortable stay.

We spent two nights in a suite and would gladly return. The pool sits in the middle of a beautiful property and feels like a little oasis, a nice place to cool off and relax. You're only a few steps from the historic center, but it's quiet enough to sleep well. Breakfast was excellent, served on a lovely veranda that becomes a restaurant at night. We didn't eat dinner there. The poolside service could be better: ordering a drink means getting up to place it, and then the wait can be long. Even so, I highly recommend this pousada.

The location is good and the shared areas look pretty, but that was about all I liked. The rooms are tiny, with no trash bin inside, and we could hear every small sound from reception and the road. Breakfast was probably the worst we had in Brazil. At checkout they also tried to charge a service fee, though we hadn't received any services. We didn't have a single drink or use the pool.
