The staff were friendly and the location is good, but the room was extremely cramped and awkwardly arranged. The fridge sat in the middle of the room, leaving very little space to walk. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly: the mirrors, floors, walls, and shower were very dirty when we arrived. There was also mold and water damage in the bathroom. There were dozens of signs around the room listing fines. One said losing the paper provided for parking would cost 50 R$. I found all the notices obnoxious. The hotel seems to expect very high standards from guests, yet couldn't even wipe a mirror. The walls are thin too, so I could hear people in the next room at night. We didn't use the fan because, as soon as we turned it on, it looked like it was barely attached and might fall out of the ceiling. Breakfast was poor. The cereal was stale, the eggs were soaked in strongly flavored oil, and the fruit was low quality. The dining area also didn't seem properly cleaned, with ants everywhere and sticky tables.

The beds are quite small, about 0.80 m wide and no more than 1.90 m long. The internet was very weak and slow, though that might be a general issue in town. The pousada is well placed, about a five-minute walk from the old town. Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, and there’s a small pool plus outdoor seating areas.

The owner or manager was just rude. The staff deliberately switched off the power and the refrigerator with my diabetes medicine inside, even though there was no power problem in the city. It felt like they were trying to cut costs. The room was full of mosquitoes too.

My only complaint was breakfast, where it took too long for food to be replenished. The location is the best thing about this hotel, and the pool, employees, parking lot, and common areas were also good.

The pousada and accommodations were in top shape, and the breakfast lady was a sweetheart. The front desk attendant, though, was terrible. They left me standing there to go talk to someone else. Unreal.
