The breakfast is generous, served on a balcony overlooking the beach, and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I thought they were among the best I saw in Brasil, where many pousadas and budget hotels are poorly designed. Right across from Jabaquara beach and in its center, this place offers some of the best quality for the price in Paraty. Rates stay fair and the same every day, even when there's an event in town, which isn't common in Paraty. The receptionist is helpful, alert, and smart too, another uncommon virtue in Brasil.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the breakfast area also serves as a pizzeria, La Bia. The pizza was excellent toooooo!
