The room met my expectations, and I wasn't questioning that. My concern was the breakfast, which I felt still needed quite a lot of improvement. The inn has room to expand, and I think a bit more investment and attention to upgrades could help. Although I wrote this review after my stay, it reflects what I experienced at the time, and I wanted to share that transparently. I was trying to distinguish what worked from what could be better, and the breakfast comment was about that experience, regardless of the room category. The rooms themselves are good, but for the price I felt the inn's facilities fell short.

The reception was polite and welcoming, and I found the facilities attractive and well cared for. One improvement would be to put two chairs on the rooms with balconies. It would also be nice if the inn offered guests a coffee drink in the late afternoon.

The inn is well located, spotlessly clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good, although my husband and daughter found hairs in the food. The people handling the food weren't wearing hairnets or gloves, and there was a fan in the room. Loose hair and a fan meant hair ended up in the food.

The inn is lovely and the breakfast was very good. I especially want to thank Andreia. When we arrived, my son vomited at 4 in the morning, probably from something he'd eaten in Ubatuba. I asked for a cloth and a bucket and did the best I could cleaning up in the middle of the night. The next day Andreia moved us to another room. She also helped with our wet clothes when we came back soaked from the beach a few times. I'm very grateful.

Pousada Larissa is a good value and a nice option for a visit to Paraty. It sits near the entrance to town, which makes it easy to reach, and the nights are peaceful. The place is clean and orderly, with good parking and a good breakfast.
