The place is about a 10-minute walk from the old town. The pool and lounging area are lovely, and the garden birds are fun to watch through the day. Breakfast by the pool comes with fresh fruit, and the staff are friendly and around when you need them. Lias speaks English very well, though the rest of the staff don't. We first stayed in room 6 by the pool, which could use an update. The lighting was harsh, the bed very firm, and the furniture cheap. The beds in both rooms we stayed in were quite small, around 130-140 cm at best. We moved to room 3, which had a softer bed and gentler lighting. We also weren't woken by breakfast preparations right outside the room every morning.

There are lots of places to unwind here, with sofas and hammocks, plus filtered water that's always available. At 4pm they generously put out cake, coffee, and bananas. The breakfast is delicious and has plenty of options, and there's a clean, pleasant pool. The pousada is peaceful and beautifully designed, full of plants. It feels like a little pause from the world, somewhere you can just relax and slow down.

A charming little guest house, with lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. It's around a 15-minute walk to the historic centre, and only five minutes from the bus station.

The staff are lovely, and breakfast was really good. You can get to all the action in about 10 minutes.

The bed felt too small for two and wasn't comfortable, though the staff were friendly. I liked the pool and the cozy guesthouse, plus some rooms have a veranda and a reading area. Guests in the veranda rooms get breakfast served to them, and the free afternoon coffee is a nice extra.
