The accommodation and breakfast are simple, but fair for the price. Nothing wrong with them on that front. On Sunday, a kind staff member served breakfast, which made for a pleasant experience. Monday was unfortunately a different story. The person in charge of breakfast was very noisy, clattering dishes while washing and drying them, dragging chairs around forcefully, and making calls on speakerphone during breakfast. I understand it’s a family-run place, but that behavior really took away the peace of the moment, especially at breakfast, which is usually a quiet time for guests. Because of that, we don’t feel like returning.

The room was super clean and cozy, just right for resting while listening to the sea. This place is a true beachfront retreat, and the team was kind and helpful throughout. The handmade breakfast deserves a special mention, delicious and varied. A 10 out of 10 stay. We’ll definitely be back soon!

In 2025, I booked Pousada Pouso Trindade for Carnival, from February 13 to 17. I waited for the accommodation details so I could pay and confirm the stay. They hadn’t cancelled my reservation during those months or told me anything had changed. On the day I tried to confirm, I contacted them and arranged payment with the attendant Grazi on their WhatsApp. She confirmed the payment method and said she’d send me the link. This was Monday, 19/01/26. After that, though, they stopped replying and kept putting me off with excuses. They said they had no internet, but were posting stories on Instagram and responding to my other phone number and to my boyfriend, just not to me. I asked through Instagram and both of my numbers for the payment link, or at least an update about the reservation. I can’t cancel without paying the fee, and I don’t want to cancel. I still have no answer and I’m afraid I’ll lose my trip.

We arrived in the middle of the night with my family after checking several inns for vacancies. Some places left a really bad impression and were charging three times the online price. Here, the attendant was so kind and polite, helped us sort out rooms, and was flexible about checkout. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast was good, and the price was very fair. Great service overall. I’d absolutely recommend this place over some cheaper options, which are poorly maintained.
