The pool was nice, and the river running behind the pousada was great. The pousada itself was very good too. Sr Haroldo and his wife were friendly and helpful.

Haroldo is such a good guy, and the welcome was a 10 out of 10. The hospitality here is wonderful. I recommend the pousada.

We won’t be coming back because I don’t think the owner handled the charge honestly. My brother asked to use the air conditioning for our three-day stay, and the owner said it would cost 50 reais per day. We agreed. My brother mistakenly thought his accommodation was still unpaid, so he paid 150, believing that was for his lodging, and then paid another 75 toward the air conditioning, leaving the rest for me to settle. When we explained that the accommodation was already paid and asked for the extra 75 to be refunded, the owner said he’d return only 25. He said there would be an extra charge because we had used the air conditioning “too much” and “all day.” That meant he charged 200 for something we had already agreed would cost 150. I don’t think that was right.

There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen available for every meal, which was useful since breakfast wasn’t provided. That was the one thing I missed. The pousada is simple but welcoming, and I thought it offered the best value. The owners were attentive and helpful, especially Sr. Haroldo, and the spaces were clean. Our room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. There’s also a stream at the back, a nice extra, and a pool that we made good use of. We were well looked after, enjoyed our stay, and would return.
