It's worth knowing up front that there's no breakfast, parking, or card payment here, so anyone needing those things may be disappointed. My stay was good overall, though. The rooms were very clean, simple but practical and comfortable, with a good mattress, flat-screen TV, split air conditioning, bedside tables, a minibar, and somewhere to hang towels. It's a family place, cleaned and managed by the owners, who live there too. Another plus is how close it is to the historic center.

Right in the center, with the attractions of Paraty, even the beach, easily reached on foot. The place was quiet, airy, clean, and pleasant, with fresh paint, furniture, and bedding. dna Jô and Ramon were polite and attentive. I'm sure I'll come back, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Not good. Unless you enjoy being woken on Saturday morning by the owners talking loudly and playing gospel music. I thought this was an inn, but it's really just a regular house where the owners rent out rooms.
