Sunrise Bela Vista

Marcelo and his wife Maria Sol were so kind, and gave us helpful advice for our next stop in Brazil. We spent three lovely nights here. The room was clean, the view was amazing, and breakfast was good. 100%!

The owners were so caring and quick to help that they made me want to stay longer than I’d booked. I’d planned to stay at a nearby hotel, but it was dirty and I couldn’t sleep there. It was late, so I looked around for somewhere else and found (sunrise Bela Vista). By chance, the owner was there when I arrived and welcomed me warmly. He spoke English, which made everything easy to understand. It’s only a 2-3 minute walk from the center, but far enough away to be quiet. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shower room was quite large for the price. Breakfast had everything I needed, and there’s a laundry machine guests can use for a small fee to wash and dry clothes. It’s a well-rounded pousada: clean, welcoming, well located, and good value. It was the best place I stayed in during my 30 days in Brazil. Sending the owners love and good health. I really appreciated my stay, thank you ❤️.

The rooms were tidy, clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. Maria Sol and Marcelo looked after us throughout our stay, always ready to help with advice about lovely places to visit and how to get around by bus and back. They were funny and great company too. Marcelo’s boat trip was a real highlight. He takes you to see some paradisiacal islands and shares the history of each one. We’re very grateful for Maria Sol and Marcelo’s honesty and kindness. Marcelo’s breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were perfectly adequate, the kitchen was well equipped, and the accommodation was excellent.
